Camp Lightly

Our Bushcrafter Camps are simple clearings tucked into the woods — no frills, and no one to bother you. Just you, your kit, your friends, and the sound of the animals.

Great mini-camps for bushcrafter buddies, lightweight campers, and small groups of experienced campers.

What You'll Find

• A flat woodland clearing (you’ll have it to yourself)
• Fire pit or and a grill
• Compost toilet within walking distance
• Additional firewood from our woodpiles
• A whole woodland to explore
• Peace & space — no human neighbours unless you bring them
• But owls, deer, badgers and birds keeping an eye on you

What’s Not Provided

• No electricity or lighting
• No guaranteed parking by the camp

What You’re Welcome To Do

• Light a small fire in your designated pit
• String up tarps or hammocks
• Use knives, axes, and saws responsibly
• Walk quietly, forage gently, cook over fire
• Explore the woods

Bookings & Timings

• 1 or 2 nights: Friday–Saturday or Saturday–Sunday from May to October
• Arrival from 12pm, depart by noon on Saturday or mid-afernoon on Sunday.
• Reserve your space for an initial £60 deposit per night
• Pay the remainder on arrival

Pricing

• £20 per head per night (1 camp = up to 4 adults)
• £12.50 for children
• £20 for a bag of firewood
• (and we deduct the £60 deposit from the total)

Getting There

• 5–10 minute walk from the car park,
• Wheelbarrows provided for kit (and a helping hand from our team)
• Follow the trails to your clearing

Voltaire’s Wood, Gloucestershire.
Private woodland. Quiet and wild, it's a great place to disappear.
